Our Fabric Shade Structures are engineered to meet specific load requirements. They create shade options for each and every project with products that do not require heavy maintenance. Each shade structure provides an open feel that cools the air by as much as 25 degrees and blocks up to 97% of harmful UV rays.
All steel frames go through an extensive process of sand blasting, zinc primer and powder coating or can be galvanized in coastal applications. Modern Shade is committed to manufacturing the highest quality shade structures and back them with an industry leading warranty at competitive prices.

4 Post Hip
This design can easily accommodate multiple structures joined together with shared columns for large areas. The standard sizes are 8’x8’ up to 35’x35’ on 4 posts, but can be customized to any size in between.
4 Post Hip Super Structure
The standard sizes are 36’x36’ up to 60’x60’ on 4 posts, but can be customized to any size in between.
6 Post Hip
The standard size is 35’ x 40’ on 6 posts, but can be customized from 35' to 70' on 6 posts.
Full Cantilever
Hip, Pyramid, Single Slope, High Brace Hip, High Brace Pyramid, or High Brace Arched
Standard: 8’ x 8’ up to 20’ overhang x 40’
Custom Standard: Single Cantilever can extend up to 20’+ overhang x 50+’

Standard: Sizes range from 8’ x 8’ up to 20’ overhang x 40’
Custom Standard: T-Cantilever can extend up to 20’+ overhang x 50+’
3 Point Sail
Standard: Sizes 15’x15’x15’ with Post heights 8’ to 11’ tall and lengths of fabric increasing by 5’ up to a 40’x40’x40’ with Post heights up to 12’ to 18’ tall
Custom Standard: Can have just about any size up to 40’ between post
4 Point Sail

Hypar - 2 diagonal post high & 2 diagonal post low
Lean-to - 2 post on same side high & 2 post on the same side low
Custom - Place the columns anywhere within 40’ of each other
